How it works
How Our Pest Control Process Works
Five steps, from the form you fill out today to the follow up that checks the work.
Quick answer
You send a request. We pass it to a local pest control technician. Your technician inspects your home, explains what they found and gives you a written plan and price. Treatment starts only after you agree. A follow up checks that the problem is under control.
The Steps
- You send a request
Use the free inspection form or the contact page. Tell us the pest, where you see it and the best time to reach you. A photo helps a lot.
- We connect you with a technician
We send your request to one local technician who serves your town. Same day service is available when you reach out early in the day.
- Your technician inspects
Your technician will look at the places pests hide and enter. That means door sweeps, weep holes, plumbing gaps, the attic, the garage and the yard. Good work starts with the right pest name, since a German roach and an American roach need different plans.
- You get a written plan
Before any treatment, your technician will explain what they found, what they suggest and what it costs. Ask questions. Ask for their Texas license number too.
- Treatment and follow up
Your technician treats, then tells you what to expect next. Many pests take more than one visit. Baits for roaches and fire ants work over days or weeks, and a follow up shows whether more work is needed.
What This Approach Is Based On
Technicians who follow integrated pest management, or IPM, use more than spray. The EPA describes IPM as a mix of finding the pest, setting action levels, prevention and control, with the lowest risk option chosen first. In practice that means sealing gaps, fixing leaks and removing food and clutter, then treating where it counts.
What You Can Do Before the Visit
- Write down where and when you see pests.
- Save a pest in a sealed bag or take a clear photo.
- Clear space under sinks and along garage walls so your technician can see.
- Keep pets inside on the day of the visit.
Process Questions
How long does the first visit take?
Most home inspections take under an hour, though a large home, a big yard or an attic can add time. Your technician will tell you what to expect when they set the visit. Treatment may happen the same day once you approve the plan.
Do I need to be home?
Yes, for the first visit. Your technician will need to see inside and talk through the plan with you. Later visits for outside work may not need you there, but ask your technician first so nobody makes a wasted trip.
What if pests come back after treatment?
Tell your technician right away. Some pests, like German roaches and fire ants, take more than one round. Ask before work starts what is included if they return and how soon a follow up can happen.
